Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse Manager to join their team.

This role is responsible for owning, designing, and delivering the enterprise business intelligence, reporting, and data warehouse capabilities for the organization. Responsible for defining and maintaining the analytics architecture supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 as the primary system of record. Responsible for leading enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) governance and leading data-centric AI and advanced analytics enablement. Responsible for leading a small hybrid team while remaining hands-on in technical design and development.

This position is remote with a travel requirement of up to 15%.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise BI and data warehouse architecture
  • Define data modeling standards including dimensional models and semantic layers
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in SQL development, modeling, and troubleshooting
  • Lead Power BI reporting strategy including datasets, DAX, security, and governance
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define metrics and reporting priorities
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external BI resources
  • Ensure data governance, security, and documentation standards are enforced

Master Data Management (MDM) Ownership

  • Lead enterprise Master Data Management governance
  • Define data domains, ownership, and stewardship
  • Establish data quality and consistency standards
  • Ensure master data supports operational and analytical use cases

AI & Advanced Analytics Responsibilities

  • Lead data readiness for AI and advanced analytics initiatives
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security for AI use cases
  • Partner with business and IT leaders to identify practical AI opportunities

Skills & Attributes

Experience required:

  • 5+ years in BI, data engineering, or analytics roles
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and cloud data platforms
  • Experience supporting ERP-driven analytics, ideally Dynamics 365
  • Experience leading small teams and managing vendors

Desired Experience:

  • Manufacturing or supply-chain analytics experience
  • Azure Synapse Analytics experience
  • Financial reporting experience
